As discussed, this is a recommended sound legal basis for MirrorMe and all TVNF filming which is founded on English law for all media and publishers.

1. Under English Law a media production company automatically owns the rights to all production they have created and then licenses use to clients.

2. Miss England is a classed as master distributor of our productions and in our terms and conditions we grant automatic free license to clients such as Miss England to make use our productions within their business for the sum of £1. 

3. Outside of normal business use on your website and social media, e.g. by TV companies such as ITV and RTL who have wanted ‘Broadcast Rights’ for use of clips of Miss England content, we have occasionally been able to sell them a license and pay you a commission on fees.

4. The rights of contestants are protected under GDPR, and they must consent to being filming and we have a standard form we use for any capture that grants us use of their image and voice regardless of whether it’s for film or AI Avatars and covers use by you as our client. In the past we have not followed this except in the TV competition but will be doing this formality as we are entering into a much broader commercial opportunity and need to have proper audit trail to protect all parties.

5. You should have something signed that allows you also permission to make free use of all contestants’ content to promote Miss England and in media generated competitions not just by us, but any other Miss England appointed photographers and videographers. This would be best agreed between them and you when they sign up as contestants and note that they also accept that TVNF owns the production rights.

6. With the Avatars the contestants will gain an opportunity to introduce new clients to MirrorMe and Doriel will agree a commission for both you and them.

7. In addition, TVNF will further grant contestants an exclusive right to use their Miss England Avatars and sell a license to use their Avatars to those companies they introduce to us. They can then charge as much as they see fit bill the client directly for appearing in our Avatar created videos. This way they total control and income for the commercial use of their talent. This opens a new income stream, and they can earn money without needing to be filmed. They can also charge for their time creating posts and getting the Clients media maximum views and engagement. This will negate any concerns that they will be exploited, and many will be able to earn a large income without having to spend time being filmed.

In summary:

1. TVNF owns all rights to the use of our productions.

2. Miss England is our appointed exclusive distributor with free right to use the media to promote.

3. Miss England operates as an agency for the contestants and any other people you have that wish to be represented by your agency.

4. The contestants grant full permission to both of us to be filmed and you to market them.

5. In return we grant them exclusive rights as resellers of licenses use their Avatars and earn a fee for what is in effect an AI appearance fee, on top of any local social media promotion they wish to give.

Everyone wins, everyone’s legitimate rights are upheld, use of content is strictly controlled and managed properly, legally and compliant with GDPR.
